The trek through Andharban is one of the most refreshing treks in the Sahyadri region.

Andhar [] in Marathi means Darkness and Ban [] means jungle, so Andharban [] means The Forest. Literally the dark forest, Andharban is a trail through the dense overgrowth, with beautiful views of the Devkund waterfall, Plus Valley and the Tamhini Ghat along the way.

This is simple trail yet checks your endurance, a trail of around 20 kilometers passing through dense forest on the edge of valleys of Tamhini ghat overlooking the waters of Kundalika river.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1:
10:00 pm: Meet the Adventure Geek Team
at Borivali East, National Park Gate
10:15 pm: Departure from Borivali
10.30 pm: Pickup from Bisleri Junction
10.55 pm: Pickup From Dadar East Pritam Hotel
11.30 am: Sec 17, Vashi (Below the flyover)

Day 2:
06:00 am: Breakfast & Freshen up at Base Village
07:00 am: Reach Pimpri dam i.e. the start point of our trek
07:30 am: After briefing and a short introduction start trek
11:30 am: Lunch Break
12:30 pm: Continue with the trek
03:30 pm: Reach Bhira Dam which is the Endpoint of the trek
04:00 pm: Heavy Snacks at Pali
09:00 pm: Reach Mumbai tentatively

Good trekking shoes, an extra pair of socks (Must)
Warm clothes / Shawl / bed-sheet (for rest)
Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes (Must)
Carry 3-4 extra carry-bags
Packs things properly to protect from rain
Camera, Cap, etc. (Optional)
Electrolyte packets as energy drinks (optional)
Carry eatable like fruits, dry fruits to munch on during trek and to avoid dehydration.
A haversack to put in all the things.
Good to have stick for support.

No smoking.
No plastic littering.
Wear full sleeves, full track suite to avoid mosquito.
No jeans/skin-tight cloths.
Proper footwear/shoes are essential for the trek.
Conserve and preserve our heritage.
No deo / perfume. After a trek it's OK.
We reserve all right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without any prior notice.
No Extra adventure/out of itinerary behavior during trek.
Trek leaders decision will be final and binding.
Photographs were taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purpose.
Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety, Jewellery, Cash and baggage.

It is most essential to be fit and fine before heading for trekking.
While planning your trekking trip, it is preferable to have a medical fitness check-up done.
If suffering from any kind of allergy or ailment, do carry proper prescribed medicines to prevent serious health problem including heatstroke, sever headache, cough, dehydration, and hypothermia.
Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma, bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes etc should seek their physician's advice before coming.

Cancellation within 12hours of payment, 90% refundable
Cancellation before 15 days of the event, 50% refundable
Cancellation before 5 days of event, 25% refundable
Cancellation before 3 days of event, 15% refundable
Above and after no refund No cancellation amount will be refunded on Advance Payment.
