In this Holi vacation, visit the World Heritage Site of the ancient Vijayanagara Empire at Hampi. One of the richest cities in the world in the 15th century, Hampi is the world's largest open-air museum. Enjoy the scenery through a serene ride on a coracle over the Tungabhadra river. 

Hampi and Badami are the two one of a kind places in India, which has historical and religious significance. Hampi a World Heritage Site as declared by UNESCO.

  • 05.00 pm Leave for Hospet from Mumbai by catching A/C sleeper bus from your nearest boarding point. Bus starts from Borivali {W} Gokul Hotel Near Chamunda Circle and stops at most of the locations on western expressway.

Day 01: Sunday, 8th March 2020

  • 09.00 am Reach Hospet and board into our pre-booked vehicle.
  • 09.30 am Reach Hampi, Check-in & Get fresh
  • 10.00  am Finish Breakfast, Have introduction round and start our exploration
  • 10.00 To 2.00 pm Explore Major temples in Hampi
  • 02.00 pm to 3.00 pm Lunchtime
  • 03.30 pm to 5.30 pm Explore the rest of the temples
  • 05.30 pm to 6.30 pm Sunset from Mantanga Hill
  • 07.30 pm Return back to the hotel and chill with your buddies or visit your favorite cafes and have dinner.

Day 03 - Tuesday, 10th March 2020 - Holi Holiday

  • 08.00 am Reach the banks of Tungabhadra for Coracle Ride
  • 08.30 am - Celebrate holi with your travel mates. 
  • 09.00 am Start exploring the remaining heritage sites
  • 01.00 pm - Have lunch at a multicuisine restaurant
  • 01.30 pm - Post lunch check out from hotel/resort and Pack your bags and leave for exploring remaining temples
  • 01.30 pm - Complete the remaining temples
  • 05.00 pm leave for Hospet to catch our bus to Mumbai

  • Dinner on Day 01 , Day 02 
  • 2N/3D Comfortable Accommodation in decent hotel/resort/cottages/homestay on Twin , Triple sharing. Couple will get twin room. 
  • All entry charges, guide charges, toll charges, and parking charges.
  • Coracle ride over the Tungabhadra river
  • Driver allowances. 


  • Bus journey cost from Mumbai to Hospet and Hospet to Mumbai
  • Food consumed during the bus journey
  • Lunch on all days
  • Dinner on Day 0, Day 03 and Day 04

Things to Carry

  • A light-weighted Haversack or Backpack, and a smaller Day Sack
  • Good pair of trekking shoes, and a pair of flip-flops

  • Toiletries Sunscreen, Moisturizer, Light towel, Lip balm, Wet wipes, Toothbrush, Toothpaste          
  • Any medicines that you consume normally, post consulting a doctor
  • Mosquito repellent
  • Enerzal Powder or Glucon D powder
  • Hand Sanitizer

Rules and Regulations

  • In case of any injury, sickness, accident, death or any other casualty or loss or damage of valuables or luggage or any equipment; Mumbai Weekenders, its instructors, organizers, volunteers or any other person involved wholly or partially, either individually or jointly, shall not be responsible in any manner for the same and no claims of the participants, parents, guardians, relatives or friends of participants will be entertained.
  • Littering is strictly not allowed on events. Do not leave empty plastic bottles, biscuit or chocolate wrappers behind. We must carry our own garbage/leftovers back to the city.
  • Do not carry lots of cash, gold or any valuables. We are not responsible for the loss.
  • On the event, the leaders decision will be a final decision no argument will be entertained.
  • Organizers of the event reserve any right to cancel the event due to unexpected weather, lack of participants or any other reasons.
  • We are extremely strict about women's safety. Any misbehavior/verbal abuse with women within the group or outside the group will lead to immediate expulsion.
  • When you are traveling alone, you have to keep the trip leader informed about your whereabouts.
  • You have to abide by all rules and regulations and respect the culture of the place you visit.
  • Smoking and alcohol are only allowed during the night inside your rooms without creating problems for other co-travelers. Substances that are illegal by law are not allowed to consume. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  •  If cancellation is done prior to 10 days of outing 75% of total event cost will be refunded.
  •  If done prior to 5 days of outing 50% of total event cost will be refunded.
  •  After that, no refund will be provided.
