About Sandhan Valley:
Sandhan valley is known Wonder of nature & splendid of Sahayadri. Water carved valley of 200 ft deep and about 1.5 long which is located on the west side of the beautiful Bhandardara region, near Samrad village. Valley surrounded by mighty Alang, Madan & Kulang, Ratangad, Ajoba & Kalsubai. Brilliant & deep narrow rock floored ravine between the two high walls of the mountain range. At some places, its width is less than 3 ft so that at some places sun rays unable to reach.
So its called the valley of shadow. To go at the end side of gorge you have cross 2-3 water pools, water level changes according to seasons, in winter it is up to waist & in summer it is up to knee height. The Sandhan valley trek incorporates a rappelling experience and freehold rock climbing and descending, which cannot be undertaken by a group of rookies or individual trekkers. You would have to enlist the help of an operator who will, in addition to the technical gear also provide you camping gear.
Ratan means Jewel in Hindi. This hill fort is indeed jewel in all the hill forts here in Sahyadri. It is located in the district of Ahmednagar and is located about 4255 feet above sea level. It lies in the Ajoba mountain range surrounded by great mountains of Kulang, Alang, Kalsubai, Katarabai, Ajoba and Ghanchakkar. Geographically Ratangad is at the banks of Bhandardara lake of Ahmednagar district. With views of lake and highest mountains in Sahyadri looks very much lost in time. This fort offers fabulous views of majestic Sahyadri ranges. Right from Katrabai till Sandhan Valley. One of the most beautiful forts in Flowering September, Ratangad seems to shadowed by yellow Sonki Flowers.

Day 0: Friday.
*Pune people* please catch *06.35pm Indrayani / 06.50pm Maysuru-Ajmer Express* from Pune station and alight at Kalyan and catch below mentioned local from kalyan. *Mumbai people* please Catch *10.50pm Kasara Local train* from CST and meet us at Kasara
Day 1: Saturday. 00:07 am: Kalyan 01:18 am: Kasara
Depart 2 Samrad by Private vehicle Reach Samrad by Private vehicle and rest till 05.30am Start Ratangad trek after Breakfast and Tea. Reach Trimbak darwaja around 9.15am and explore Nedhe, Ganesh Darwaja, Ranicha Hudda and Ganesh Darwaja. Refill your bottles and start descend to base village for late Lunch. Rest for couple of hours Visit Sandhan Valley Karoli ghat reverse waterfall Sunset Retire for the day after Dinner around 8pm
Day 2: Sunday.
Early Wake up Call , Freshen Up Start trek with Breakfast and Tea around 6am Cross the waist height water Body after 10 min of trek in the valley. Lunch on the Way. It will local tasty Chapati and bhaji. If you wants to add more flavour to it, then please carry it. Reach at the Base and move to dehne village Travel to Asangaon by local transport. Reach Asangaon by 6:00 PM Reach Mumbai by 07.30 PM ( Which is Tentative )

RULES: No smoking. No plastic littering. Wear full sleeves, full track suite for protection. Proper footwear/shoes are essential for trek. Conserve and preserve our heritage. No deodorant / perfume. After trek its OK. We reserve all right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without any prior notice. No Extra adventure/out of itinerary behavior during trek. Trek leader's decisions will be final and binding. Photographs were taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purposes. Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety, Jewellery, Cash and baggage.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY: No refund of the advance amount. If cancellation is done prior to 20/10/7 days of outing 70%/50%/30% will be refunded respectively for 3-4 days event/ Dudhsagar. No refund after that. If cancellation is done prior to 6/3/2 days of outing 70%/50%/30% will be refunded respectively for 1-2 days event. No refund after that. No cancellation amount will be refunded on Advance Payment. All the activities & programs carry an amount of risk of injury and you are aware that outdoor activities have an inherent risk of personal injury.
