Monsoon trek - Shahaji's fort

| 50 Shades of Monsoon | Fort in Ruins | Unique Architecture |  |

Type: Hill Fort | Grade: Easy | Region: Igatpuri
Location Category: Popular and Crowded / Serene and Non-Crowded
Date: 24th Nov
Charges: Earlybird Offer: 750/- |  Regular charges 900/-.

Located on the ancient trade route passing through the Thal Ghat, at a height of 3238 ft ASL, the hill fort of Shahaji offers a panoramic view of the entire region.

The major attraction is the Pandav Leni caves at the foothills of the fort with 3 principal areas The outer verandah, the abbey Vihar and the inner Garbhagriha.

Even though the origin of the fort remains ambiguous, the Jain caves at the foothills indicate that it might have been constructed around the 10th century. The steps and the entrance gate of the fort have been carved out of a single rock.

Monsoon is here and Mischief Treks is all game for monsoon masti. So, get the devil out of yourselves guys. Let's rock the Sahyadris.

Q: I have booked/paid for the event, is my booking confirmed?

Ans. No!, your booking can become invalid if you do not submit the "Most Important Details" required for emergency situations. For any Trek/Adventure event the organizers need to have your details atleast 24 hours prior to the event. Ans. You need to reach "Baba Da Dhaba" at scheduled meeting time, the "Dhaba" is at 10 min driving distance from kasara station. You will be given exact coordinated after you finish booking formalities.

Q. How do we get in touch after reaching the meeting point?

Ans. We will be creating a WhatsApp group one day prior to the event for coordination where you will be provided all the necessary information regarding contact person, exact point to meet, etc..

Q. How many people will be at the coming for this trek?
