Day 1: Reach Hospet in the morning by 9:00 AM, check-in to our hotel. Post breakfast, we’ll explore the island and cross of places like Gagan Mahal, Pampa Sarovar, Laxmi Temple, Hachapa Matapa, Hanuman Temple hill. And call it a day.
Day 2: Post breakfast Check out by 07:30 hrs and Start the day with Coracle ride to travel to the other side of the town. Explore all the temples, Hampi Bazaar, Hemakuta Hills, Virupaksha temple, Monolithic Nandi, Kings Balance, Stone Car, Vitthal Temple. Later we cover the other places include Badavi lingam, Ugranarsimha and Under Ground Temple, Pushkarni, Lotus Mahal, Elephant stables, Hajari Rama Temple and Watch Tower. Phew! What a funfilled day!
We’ll leave at 5 PM to our hometowns.
Day 1:
Assemble at Hospet around 09:00 Hrs
Hampi is a backpacker’s delight. Hampi is an open museum with 100+ locations to explore and a favorite way to see the city from the perspective of its history.
Hampi was the capital of the Vijayanagar empire around 1500 AD, and by some accounts, the second-largest city in the world at that time. With all the excitement and happiness, we’ll head towards the town of Hippie in local transportation and check-in. Freshen up have breakfast and get on the bikes to explore the island and places like Gagan Mahal, Pampa Sarovar, Laxmi Temple, Hachapa Mantapa, etc. Witness Sunset from Hanuman Temple Hills- Anegundi also called Monkey Hills which is the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. Late evening free to explore the caves in the area.

Day 2:
Post breakfast Check out by 07:30 hrs and Start the day with Coracle ride to travel to the other side of the town. Later we cover the Sacred Centers that include Temples and religiously sacred sites like Hampi Bazaar, Hemakuta Hills, Virupaksha Temple, Monolithic Nandi, Kings Balance, Stone Car, Vitthal Temple.
Post lunch we move to explore Some of Sacred and all of Royale Center that includes Vijayanagara King’s Empire on Bicycles. The other places include Badavi lingam, Ugranarsimha and Under Ground Temple, Pushkarni, Lotus Mahal, Elephant stables, Hajari Rama Temple and Watch Tower.
Talk about traveling like a vagabond. HikerWolf is going to cross off each and every hot-spot of Hampi with you.
Leave from Hampi and reach Hospet by 17:00 hrs. The trip ends with a lot of memories.
By Air:The nearest airport is Hubballi about 150 km. Other airports near Hospet are at Bangalore about 350 km and Belgaum about 200 km well connected by Indian Airlines flights to most parts of India.
Rail: Hospet Railway Station is well connected by rail line to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Hubli, and Vijapur.
Road: One can hire a taxi from Hubli till Hospet.
For participants joining from Mumbai
There are multiple AC sleepers and semi-sleeper buses running from Mumbai (All locations) to Hospet and back. Board Bus that starts between 17:00hrs to 18:00hrs to reach Hospet by 09:00hrs the next day. Various bus operator like VRL and SRS provides this service.
