Shilonda is one of the trails at SGNP. The uniqueness of this trail is despite being short in the distance one can see a vast variety of species of flora and fauna. Shilonda Trail is 3 km from the Borivali entrance of SGNP. The trail is 1.5 - 2 KM long.
It is a restricted area and requires permission for entry. It's a place where you can experience pure nature with zero pollution. It is home to many amazing plants and animals. The place is Serene and has a freshwater stream at the end.

Reporting at: Main entrance of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali
Cost Include Snacks, Expert Charges and Entry Charges.
Cost Doesn't Include Travel & Any Personal Expenses.
7:15 am: Gather at Main entrance of Sanjay Gandhi National Park
7:30 am: Either start walking to the trail or drive the private vehicles till the starting point of Shilonda Trail. It takes around 40 minutes to reach the starting point of the trail.
8:20 am: Start Trial. Go till the river point and have light snacks.
10:30 am: Start return journey to the main gate of National Park
What to Bring!
Carry 2-3 Ltr of water (compulsory).
Wear good shoes.
Carry odomos or any other mosquito repellant. (Compulsory).
Carrying Binocular and Camera is optional.
Participants are required to wear dull colored clothes ONLY (Compulsory).
Green and Brown are best suited for Nature trails as they help you camouflage with the environment without alarming any wildlife present in the vicinity.
Do not touch any creature or plant without permission.
Do not venture out in the forest.
Strictly, No smoking, alcohol consumption or intake of unprescribed drugs will be tolerated.
Terms & Condition -
An increase in any prevailing entry charges of Borivali National Park will be charged from participants.
Smoking or drinking is not allowed during the program.
