Rajmachi

Rajmachi is one of the famous treks in Sahyadri mountains and one of the favorite destination for every trekker and beginners. The height of this fort is 2710 ft. This fort was built by Shivaji in the 17th century. You can spend lots of time over the fort by exploring Manranjan, Shrivardhan Rajmachi lakes. We are going to cover the Karjat route. Trek route is surrounded by dense forest so you can get opportunity to see different species of birds and animals.

ITINERARY:

27th Sep 2019
Friday:
20:30 start from Hyderabad to Karjat in train

28th Sep
Saturday:
11:00am reach Karjat and start to base village
13:30 Start the trek Home stay
18:00 reach Home stay
20:00 Dinner and sleep

29th Sep
Sunday
04:30 am wake up and walk along the trail forts and view points
08:00 am return to Home stay pack bags
08:30 breakfast and photo time
09:30 start to base village
12:30 reach Karjat and lunch
14:00 start to Hyderabad

30th Sep
Monday
05:00/07:00 am reach Hyderabad depending on which train we board

What to get :
A Back-Pack
Sleeping bag / Blanket
2 pairs of Cloths
Raincoat/poncho
Good grip Shoes (Mandatory), along with that Flip Flops/ Slippers (Optional)
Water bottle (enough to carry at least 2 liters of water).
A small pocket knife (if you have a Victorinox - SWISS ARMY knife then great...).
Some tissue/toilet paper.
Insect repellent (ex. Odomos).
Power bank
Snacks and Energy Food (Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucon-D, etc).
Garbage bag to collect any litter we may create (or other people have created).
Any medications physician prescribed

Note: no one is going to carry your bag through out the trek. keep it light and feel the breeze of nature.
