Cucumber Posto - A typical Bengali meal starts with palate cleansers like sasha posto made from English cucumbers

cooked in poppy seed paste with a subtle nutty flavor.

Vegetable Chahkees - Also known as chechki, is a mildly spiced dry curry made from popular seasonal vegetables.

Prawn/Chenna bhaape - A popular Bengali dish made by steaming prawns or chana (that is, cottage cheese) in mustard and

coconut sauce.

Echorer Kofta curry - Baby jackfruits are made into soft and succulent koftas or balls in rich spicy gravy.

Ros tos mutton - A hybrid recipe where the Dak Bungalow khansamas used Indian marinades, spices and onions to
