About The Book
This is a tale about the power of a woman in an unequal society, and how she fights every battle in a rural Indian village all on her own. Pravas is the epitome of will power, dedication, and hard work. Having grown up in impoverished surroundings, her everyday battle is to survive against all odds in a tiny hamlet. And once she bears two children, her only dream is to ensure that they stand on their two feet. This book is about how she fights orthodoxy, jealousy, lust, poverty, and bias to triumph over them, one day at a time. Pravas is the Shero of our times!
