The Dalai Lama, recommends that “Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before”
YoMama invites you to join us on a travel adventure with our TRAVELOGUE series. Travel, that will take your imagination on a journey of exploration, and dialogues where our invited traveler will share his/ her experiences, and you can engage in meaningful dialogue with them as if experiencing the journey yourself!
YoMama is happy to feature NAMRATHA SASTRY this 27th July, come explore the magical world of SPITI VALLEY as Namratha takes us on a journey to the exotic mountains and valleys of India.
Namratha is an engineer, a farmer by heart, and a forest enthusiast by the soul. She’s a traveler by interest and a budding eco-activist. She also qualifies herself to be a super wife and super mother although she needs to check what her family thinks :)
She released herself from the “clutches” of the corporate world and has now embarked on the journey of her passion – Sustainable Living & Farming.
Beach holidays never really excited her as much as a mountain holiday.
Last year, she felt a personal connection to the mountains and she stayed there for 25 days, only to return for more this year. She decided on Spiti valley as her holiday destination and now fondly refers to it as home. With all her memories still as fresh as the mountain air, Namratha will be talking about her journey in Spiti, and the mountains. She will share expert travel tips and recommendations on the best time to visit, what to expect, where to stay etc.
Her talk is for about an hour followed, by Q and A. There will also be an open mic for anyone else who would like to share their own travel experiences.
Do join us for an intimate evening of travel and dialogue.
