Stories often come to us from others, in the form of books, movies, and performances, but how often do children weave stories of their own?
Story-maker is the only workshop that teaches kids to become better story makers by engaging them in a host of activities. It helps a child shift from being the story listener to a story maker and a storyteller. The workshop has a number of fun story making activities that will push kids to be more creative, imaginative, vocal, and social.
While some activities will help them explore story making through symbolism and icons, some others will give them a hands-on activity to create their own fully-finished storybook. To make the workshop more fruitful, we end with engaging the kids in the game of Pitara - a storytelling board game that will tickle your child's brain and help their creative juices flow in the form of amazing stories!
We're very excited to spend time making some fantastic stories with your child and can't wait to see you there!
The workshop will be conducted at Kabira, a creative center nestled in the Helen O' Grady international school in Narayanpura in Bangalore. Kabira is an activity center, where kids can unwind and discover the world of art, craft, and literature!
