An interactive session between mental health professionals on topics like addiction, depression, personality disorders and mental health activists, fighters and caregivers. Doctors will be the panelists who will answer your mental health-related queries. It is a judgment-free space which brings in together a family fighting similar battles under one roof. Mental health is such a huge stigma in our society. I Sangeetha Param am myself a survivor of a mental Illness of Bipolar Disorder and I want to bring in a change in the society by addressing this huge stigma.
I have started to share my story publicly and am trying to bring in change in the smallest way possible and I am starting it by bringing about this event as a beginning in bringing this change
Being a part of this event will open your eyes to the various perspectives towards mental health and mental illnesses, ways to handle it from professionals and people who would want to share
It is a judgment-free space where people sailing in the same boat come together for a cause.
I request you to come in and join us for this session and even if your expertise is not mental Illness you can learn something new that weekend.
There will be an anonymous box where people can drop in their questions which will be addressed by the doctors for half an hour towards the end of the event.
