Kurungwadi...A small and quiet village flourished with scenic beauty at the foot heels of the Sahyadri. It is actually a hidden treasure for all nature lovers. It's hardly a few kilometres away from Igatpuri Kurungwadi is a water reservoir and also a new weekend gateway near Igatpuri hill station. The soothing blue-green water of Lake and the surrounding lush green mountains range of Sahyadri with gigantic view of Alang, Madan & Kulang fort makes for a great treat to the eyes. Imagine a camping trip with such beautiful surrounding, delicious food made on chulha and the opportunity to make new friends. Pitching up the tent right beside the lake and gathering wood for the campfire surely would make up for the awesome ambience of this place.

Dear 99Hikers team,

Thank you for the beautiful and mesmerizing experience of seeing fireflies in their natural environment. We will always cherish the experience.

We would like to give a few points of improvement as to the services and amenities provided:

1. We were a little disappointed as a group of 108 was way to big and only with 02 team leaders to handle such a group. in such a short trip, it was not possible to even get to interact with others in the group.

2. Such a large group required more than two team leaders as it was clear to us that it was difficult for 99hikers team to handle 108 people at a go with ease.

3. There was no meet and greet session to acquaint everyone with the agenda before starting our journey, therefore, everyone was clueless as to how we were to proceed. There was time in the bus to announce the agenda but it was not utilized to do the same.

4. Tents were not assigned to campers beforehand so it led to a lot of confusion and took up a lot of time to assign tents after reaching the campsite. We loved the tent facilities provided of course, they were well-built, comfortable and in a good location with the river view. However, the washroom facilities could be improved upon.

All in all, a good experience, but a lot of room to improve upon, especially with regards to connecting with your patrons.

Thank you once again for a wonderful camping experience.

Hope to be able to join other fun activities by 99Hikers.

All the very best to your team!
