The world we live in is chaotic and random. There seems to be no rule by which it runs. People come and go from our lives and we are left wondering as to what happened. Sometimes there is a “logical” dialogue about parting ways but that never satisfies us emotionally. We pride ourselves in having done things logically without it being a “mess”. However, the hurt of separation is there. It keeps nagging us once in a while. Doesn’t it?
Sometimes we part ways with our significant others without a closure and without an explanation. Sometimes things are so bad that we don’t want to see each other’s face, not even one last time to say good bye, or ask for a reason or say what we want to say. We continue to linger with those memories of hurt and longing of “maybe I could have said that, then this wouldn’t have happened” and “maybe he wasn’t wrong and I had my own issues to deal with” etc. Our mind keeps making us run in circles like a merry-go-round because it hasn’t reached a closure. Even though the relationship has physically ended, the mind’s dialogues with the significant other are endlessly going on in the here and now. Further, because of lack of closure, we end up repeating the same subconscious pattern of unfulfilled relationships in all our future relationships.
The man-woman dialogue is a unique in-depth dialogue between a man and woman. It is a dialogue where we seek to understand the other gender, where we seek clarification, where we question and re-question till we really and deeply understand and then listen deeply to the answers we receive from ourselves and from the others. It’s a way for us to achieve a mental closure of our relationship with the significant other that has left us without a dialogue.
Our sub conscious mind is a store house of experience. It stores unreleased emotions. We tend to enter this space when we are relaxed and feeling safe. When we enter this space we also enter the space of deep vulnerability. This space is sacred. The participants will be held in an uninhibited and non-judgmental space that will allow them to express openly. The idea is to function randomly on instinct based on what calls out to us. The idea is to function without logic and see where this dialogue takes us. We’ll see the magic of the subconscious mind reveal to us messages from the deepest of our beings for our growth and healing.
Men and women, make way for this magic to happen to you! Book your tickets now.
Do not come for the workshop if you are fragile and easily hurt. This is a space where conversation will be open. If you are triggered, you are encouraged to look deep within the psyche to identify the hurt.
The presence of your ex-significant other is not needed for this conversation to happen. That is the magic of this dialogue.
Please wear loose clothes.
Come with an open mind to fully immerse in the process of learning, participating and letting go.
This conversation is mostly for people who are grieving the loss of an estranged partner. However, you are welcome to attend even if this is not the case.
Facilitator - Anshima Gupta in her truest essence is nothing yet everything. She has a love for learning new things and is a student of and for life. She is a spiritual mentor, an educator, a singer, a poetess and a dancer.
Anshima awakened to her truth at the age of 26. Her “unusual” early awakening is a result of the extreme inner suffering she underwent as a victim of a pattern of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. It is also the result of the untimely death of a close friend through suicide. At the age of 18, she questioned her existence and the purpose of life. She read text written by enlightened masters and chose awakening over every other thing. She learned healing techniques to relieve herself of her sufferings but eventually also ended up finding her life purpose. She is a gifted healer and knows a lot of healing techniques intuitively without formally learning them through a class/course. Now, she uses her inner wisdom to help awaken others. 50% of what she teaches is knowledge acquired from her spiritual teachers. The rest comes from what she has learnt from her own life journey and inner awareness. She believes that inner wisdom has nothing to do with old age and grey hair. Inner wisdom is available for everyone in the here and now. It just depends on whether we are open to it.
Anshima is also the founder of Akshar India which is a one on one teaching cum mentoring program for underprivileged children. She has a degree in Economics Honours from SRCC, Delhi University and a Masters degree in Fashion Management from NIFT, Hyderabad. She has a Diploma in Clinical Counselling from the India Institute of Counselling, Delhi and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Past Life Regression from EKAA institute, Mumbai. She has also done a 21 week course on women’s spirituality under Rekha Kurup who is the founder of She Stands Tall Project LLP.
“Commit To Self” is borne out of Anshima’s triumph over her suffering by choosing herself over everything and everyone else. Through “Commit To Self”, she teaches people how and why to choose themselves first. “Commit To Self” is a one of a kind spiritual consultancy cum one on one spiritual mentoring service. We are the first spiritual and mental health services platform which says that anxiety and depression are not bad. Depression is the path to spiritual growth, creativity and life purpose.
